‘In this ‘Anna Went Out’ series of instagram posts, I visited the Qld Science Museum in Brisbane to spend time in the birds & mammals lab to draw skeleton specimens of an Eastern Curlew migratory bird. This project is for an exhibition in North Qld called ‘Falling from the sky’. I am creating a ceramic artwork and some 2D work for this project and needed to reference bird bones.
